Wanshun charity, walk with love
Since its establishment, Wanshun Group has always stayed true to its original aspiration, paid back to the society with gratitude, actively participated in social welfare undertakings and practiced social responsibilities. The group often returns to the society through many ways, such as helping the vulnerable groups, subsidizing the construction of Bridges and roads in hometown, donating money and materials to charities, supporting cultural and educational undertakings, supporting local medical undertakings, etc., and actively makes due contributions to social charity undertakings. The group has been awarded the Advanced Collective, Advanced Grassroots Party Organization, Jiangdu Best Charity Demonstration Unit, Municipal "Charity Hero", Jiangsu Provincial Children's Charity Outstanding Contribution Award, Jiangsu Provincial Private Enterprise Employment Advanced Unit and other honors.
First, set up the Wanshun Relief Fund to help the vulnerable groups
Since its inception, Wanshun Group has devoted itself to the charity of poverty alleviation, and soon established the Wanshun Relief Fund, actively helping the elderly, poor students, left-behind children and victims of sudden disasters in the surrounding areas, with an annual expenditure of millions of yuan. During the past 20 years, during the traditional festivals, the Party committee of the Group has organized Party members and cadres to visit the nursing homes, left-behind children in the surrounding areas, poor families and other special groups in advance. When seeing the families in difficulty reported by the media, Chairman Zhou Shanhong even visits the homes in person to generously help them. Under the guidance of Chairman Zhou Shanhong, "benevolent heart, to help the poor" has become an important part of the corporate culture of Wanshun Group.
Second, support the construction of hometown and public sports and sports undertakings
Wanshun Group has invested 2.9 million yuan to sponsor China Jiangdu International Dragon and Lion Invitational Competition, Folk Song and Dance Competition, Jiangdu Flower Festival and other activities in order to support the public welfare sports and sports undertakings in the hometown. In order to facilitate villagers' travel, in 2009 and 2013, Chairman Zhou Shanhong personally donated funds and called for internal donations to build two bridge projects for her hometown Dinggou Town, with a total donation of nearly 4 million yuan. Today, the grand and strong Dinggou Bridge and Sanyanghe Bridge are not only important transportation hubs in Jiangdu, but also beautiful scenery that the local people are proud of.
Third, care for the healthy growth of left-behind children and poor students
The healthy growth of left-behind children and poor students has always been the focus of Wanshun Group. In addition to party members and cadres, the group also donated 1 million yuan to the Children's Welfare Foundation of Jiangsu Province, 600,000 yuan to the "City of Great Love" charity donation activity in Yangzhou, and 2 million yuan to the Yangzhou Charity Federation; In Suqian City, Siyang County, Chuancheng Middle School opened Wanshun Group Spring Bride Class, and helped nearly 50 poor students complete the nine-year compulsory education. In 2011, Chairman Zhou of the Group led more than 10 employees to initiate and set up the "Orchid Love Group", which absorbed more than 200 volunteers from the society. After that, the annual targeted funding was given to the left-behind and poor children in the remote towns and villages of Yangzhou. This year is the tenth year, and over the past ten years, a total of more than 3 million yuan of grants have been issued. In 2016 and 2017, Jiangsu Children's Welfare Foundation awarded Wanshun Group the annual Jiangsu Children's Charity Outstanding Contribution Award for two consecutive years.
