This year, the deck and piers of the Sanyang River Bridge in Dinggou, which has a history of more than 30 years, were found to have shifted and were on the verge of a dangerous bridge. Dinggou Town listed the demolition and reconstruction of the Sanyang River Bridge as one of the key projects for private practical work, and took the efforts of the whole town to rebuild the Sanyang River Bridge. The rebuilt Dinggou Bridge has a span of 126 meters and a width of 13.6 meters, with a total investment of about 8 million yuan, which is of great significance for integrating the construction framework of market towns and promoting the economic development of market towns. However, there is a funding gap for reconstruction.
Zhou Shanhong, chairman of the group, learned of this situation and expressed his willingness to donate funds for the reconstruction of the bridge. On the morning of December 8, there was a moving scene at the donation site of Yangzhou Wanshun Hotel. Chairman Zhou Shanhong took the lead in donating 1.6 million yuan to the town government in his own name. At the same time, he called on Dinggou cadres and employees in the group to donate to the bridge construction. On the same day, Liu Fengju, Wang Baoan and others, vice presidents of the group, also donated 100000 yuan and 50000 yuan respectively. A total of more than 230 million yuan was received on the day of the donation ceremony.
