Recently, Zhou Shanhong, chairman of the group, donated 1 million yuan to support the construction of the Sanyang River Bridge in his hometown of Dinggou Town, which has been widely spread as a good story. This is the second time he has donated millions to build a new bridge for his hometown.

The construction of Sanyang River Bridge is the need for Dinggou Town to seize the opportunity of Yangzhou Taizhou Airport to settle down, actively build a new airport city, constantly stretch the framework of the market town, and fully implement the strategy of "moving eastward and expanding southward" of the market town. After hearing the news, Zhou Shanhong donated one million yuan to the construction of Dinggou Bridge, and then donated 1 million to the construction of Sanyang River Bridge. At the same time, he called on the cadres and workers of Dinggou nationality in the group to donate to the construction of the bridge. Everyone was deeply moved by Zhou Shanhong's spirit of loving his hometown and fully supporting the construction of his hometown.

Zhou Shanhong went out to work at a young age and embarked on a hard road of entrepreneurship. After more than 10 years of hard work, he finally owned his own company in Weifang, Beijing, Nanjing, and Suzhou, and related to SAIC, Changan Automobile Group, and Shandong Weichai Group. The project has made strategic investments and quickly became an eye-catching new star in the business world.

Rich do not forget the hometown, the true feelings return to society. At the beginning of the new century, Zhou Shanhong returned to his hometown to establish Wanshun Group, and successively mobilized a group of entrepreneurs to return to their hometowns to start businesses, leading the well-known Jiangdu "returning to the nest phoenix" phenomenon. Today, Wanshun Group has developed into a national top 500 private enterprise with 12 subsidiaries, 18000 employees, assets of 1.2 billion billion yuan, and cross-regional diversified operations. Wanshun group absorbs more than 10000 rural surplus labor force every year, of which more than 80% are local villagers. It has made outstanding contributions to local economic development and farmers' income increase, and has been rated as "advanced employment unit of private enterprises in Jiangsu Province". In 2011, Wanshun Group's sales exceeded 3 billion yuan, creating more than 0.2 billion yuan of national tax revenue, including 0.108 billion yuan of local tax revenue. From 2006 to 2012, it was rated as a key tax enterprise by Jiangdu District Government for seven consecutive years.

Over the years, Zhou Shanhong has devoted himself to public welfare undertakings with enthusiasm. He has donated nearly 10 million yuan to help the elderly, families in need and poor students enter school, and support the construction of more than 35 kilometers of town and village roads; funded the Jiangdu International Dragon and Lion Invitational Tournament and China Jiangdu International Folk Song and Dance Invitational Tournament, which not only increased Jiangdu's popularity at home and abroad, but also enriched the cultural life of the masses.
